Sermon Note (1st svc)

The pastors are excited about doing the ministries! They are loving what they are doing!

Isaiah 60:1-5
​Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
The Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.
“Lift up your eyes all around, and see:
They all gather together, they come to you;
Your sons shall come from afar,
And your daughters shall be nursed at your side.
Then you shall see and become radiant,
And your heart shall swell with joy;
Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you,
The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.

To follow God’s way is to love!

Differentiate between hating sin and hating people.

Life is found in giving life for causes for Lord Jesus. Taste and see the Lord is good!

Something we have cultivate the taste while young. Cultivate the taste by putting in the mouth of the young. Leadership is needed. They need parents to say no to the children.

His Glory will be seen upon me! His spotlight is on me!!

We partake the fatness of the olive tree!
If sinners would come to us because they saw the brightness of my face!!

When God’s spotlight shines on the parents, the children will want to come to them!

When Moses came down 2nd time, his face shone.

2 Corinthians 3:6-9
who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
Glory of the New Covenant
But if the ministry of death, written and engraved on stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of the glory of his countenance, which glory was passing away, how will the ministry of the Spirit not be more glorious? For if the ministry of condemnation had glory, the ministry of righteousness exceeds much more in glory.

God gave not the law, but the spirit.
The tablets were put under the mercy seats.

There is a glory on Moses’ face, but not the full glory. Jesus’ face shone ! People run towards Jesus. People fled from Moses’ light.

Only by grace!
When glory came in New Testament, it will be seen on our faces!!

Ministry of Spirit is more glorious! Ever increasing glory!

Walk in the fullness of Isaiah 60 – Greater Glory!

People will see God’s glory on us.
When we become radiant, the abundance of the wealth of the world will come to me!!
The gentiles will come to our rising!!!

Isaiah 60:5
Then you shall see and become radiant,
And your heart shall swell with joy;
Because the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you,
The wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you.

Purposely smile.
There are people who are materialistic but have no money.
How can u be so selfish saying you don’t want money?
How can we help people when we don’t have money to help people?

The world needs the message!!

It is not how pretty we are, it is the radiance!

Art, music is very personal. There is no right or wrong.

It is not my face, it is my expression!

Psalms 42:11
Why are you cast down, O my soul?
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,
The help of my countenance and my God.

The health of my countenance – YESHUA

YOU ARE THE YESHUA OF MY FACE.
Yeshua includes healing.

Our faces shine! Radiance attracts.
A shinning radiance face. The year of greater glory, the light will shine on our faces!

When the holy spirit comes, we shall receive power and we shall be witnesses!!

We are the witnesses. We are the blessings going somewhere to happen!

Greater Glory keeps on increasing! His glory will be seen upon me!

Less is better, the light shines through!! Radiance from within!

Find something to be thankful!
The best argument is a beaming face!!!

Moon just keeps on shinning when the dog barks.

Radiance is something even as you age, u don’t have to worry about your attraction.

1 Peter 4:14
If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified.

When you are mocked by people for Christ, Leap for joy and rejoice! For great is my reward!

We don’t need the treasure in heaven when we are in heaven.
God knows how to reward us on earth!

Don’t be reproached because we made wrong decision in criminal case.

Acts 6:7-15
Then the word of God spread, and the number of the disciples multiplied greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were obedient to the faith.
Stephen Accused of Blasphemy
And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and signs among the people. Then there arose some from what is called the Synagogue of the Freedmen (Cyrenians, Alexandrians, and those from Cilicia and Asia), disputing with Stephen. And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the Spirit by which he spoke. Then they secretly induced men to say, “We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God.” And they stirred up the people, the elders, and the scribes; and they came upon him, seized him, and brought him to the council. They also set up false witnesses who said, “This man does not cease to speak blasphemous words against this holy place and the law; for we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place and change the customs which Moses delivered to us.” And all who sat in the council, looking steadfastly at him, saw his face as the face of an angel.

Steven’s face became as bright as an angel!
The people who saw his face shines are the people who hated Jesus. Many of them got saved!

The world can see the radiance! It is not only for those spiritually inclined.

Pure innocent radiance from a baby.
Someone who thinks he is bad, but a baby smile at him and loves him unconditionally. A baby is the straight from heaven.

Be happy where we are. Shine where we are. God has a purpose where we are.

Psalms 34:5
They looked to Him and were radiant,
And their faces were not ashamed.

Look at the face of the Lord and our face becomes radiant!!

Stop comparing ourselves with one another. Don’t be horizontal in my look. Man fails and they fail all the time.

Vertical look. When we look to Jesus, we become radiance!!

We are beautiful as us! We are smart as us! God made us and He broke the copy. Look to the Lord and stop comparing ourselves with people.

It is better to have 5 words with anointing. We need to improve.
Jesus said, follow Him.

Look to the Lord and spend time with the Lord, and something happens to me.

Ecclesiastes 8:1
​Who is like a wise man?
And who knows the interpretation of a thing?
A man’s wisdom makes his face shine,
And the sternness of his face is changed.(doubled)

Sternness is used for fear countenances.

A minister of the Lord said he can tell if u are in the Word or not in the Word. When u r not in the Word, darkness set in.

Start looking to the Lord. Look to the Lord esp when u r on holiday. Get the Word! Our faces shall be shinning!! Step into the situation with no weight and burden on my conscience.

A man’s wisdom makes his face shines!!

Luke 22:60-62
But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what you are saying!”
Immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed. And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said to him, “Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” So Peter went out and wept bitterly.

He was captured that I might be liberated.
The Lord turned and looked upon Peter.

Jesus took all the spits so that radiance will come on my face.
People can see from afar i am shinning!! The twinkle in my eyes!!

Jesus gave Peter the look that He still loves him though he fell. His look was not condemning but assuring. The look said i still love you. Peter saw the radiance in His eyes.

Keep our eyes steady. Look to Jesus.
