How we see

An article by a professor said the next reformation would be the grace of God been preached so radically that i sounds like blasphemy.

You cannot be a believer and not be in church. Do not put down or forsake yourself and don’t come to church. There is accountability and responsibility.

No condemnation through Christ!

Jesus gives no condemnation to us not to stay in sin but to empower us to go and sin no more!!

The more they try the more they fail! These addictions are fed by guilt and fear!

Right believing – if you believe there is no condemnation, you will go and sin no more!

The miracles in the gospel of John are signs. Signs point to something.

It is a miracle that someone’s life is transformed. Jesus upheld the law. He is the only One without sin. He refused to cast the stone at the woman. He said “Neither do i condemn you, go and sin no more”

Guilt empower addiction.

A testimony of a brother in America.
He was addicted to alcohol for 31 years. His liver got so big and hard that he had to take painkiller! The longest he quitted was for 6 weeks. The book Right Believing transformed his life! Half way through reading the book, he was transformed! He is now not drinking for 5 weeks!! Fear and guilt feeds addiction. When comes to accept God’s grace and mercy, transformation as a result of right believing!!

When u fall in love with Jesus, u fall out of love with sin!

We are here to see more of Jesus!! We are no longer under law, we are under grace!

Jesus fulfilled the law! He come not to destroy but to fulfill the law!

Once we have fulfilled the debt in the bank, we are no longer under debt!

It cost Jesus! Jesus, the just, would have to bear for the sinners. God did not send His Son to condemn, but through the world to save!!

Jesus saw sheep going astray like sheep without a shepherd. They were fainting and going astray.
Today there are leaders who do not see them with compassion.

Shepherd feed! They don’t beat!

Keep on feeding and dry leaves will one day drop off.

Feed the faint sheep with the bread of life!

We expect instant holiness on others when God had patient on us.

God is holy and must punish sin. But because God is grace, He does not wanna punish us. He sent Jesus to be punished on our behalf.

Some people are in bondage to depression and other sicknesses. We cannot with our will power set ourselves free from bondage and habit.

It is painful when we are self-occupied. We measure the world by how it treats us. Christ came to deliver us from ourselves!

After Jesus rescued the woman, He asked has anyone condemned you? She said no man, LORD. She called Jesus her Lord. Jesus did not condemn her. He paid for our sins to be forgiven!! God is glorified! The Lord has been magnified and glorified!! Our salvation is eternal!!

We cannot undo what Christ has done to make us righteous!!

Light
Light of Jesus does not expose us.

Truth
Truth. We shall know the truth and the truth shall set us free!!
It is the truth of grace! Grace and truth is One and it will set us free!!

Glory
Glory! Jesus said,”It is My Father who honors Me”

John 8:56-59
Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad.” Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?”
Jesus said to them, “ Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.”
Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

It is so sad that Jesus passed by you.

Jesus has greater glory. He is before Abraham!

Abraham saw Jesus’ day! It was Abraham who saw Jesus.

Jesus was saying He is God in human flesh.

Jesus stood forward when the Roman soldiers were looking for Him. He said I AM that I AM (“blank cheque-fill in what you need God to do for you).

And all the soldiers fell! The captive had to wait for the soldiers to get up and capture Him. Jesus was not murdered, He laid down His life! No one can take His life, He laid it down.

When you are full of self, you will miss the goodness God has prepared for you.

A good man does not tell lies and deceive multitudes.

Jesus is in our midst!!

Our hands are too short to box with God. Only fools in his heart said there is no God.

A lady in England who was a staunch unbeliever said before she died at her deathbed that if Bible is true and Jesus is true, then let trees grow out of her tomb!

And God took up the challenge. Now in England, it is official that the trees that grew out of her tomb are the strongest and biggest!! Her tomb was made of marble! Out of the tomb came out 7 trees! Oak tree was on of it. The trees are still growing! She was dead for 100 years by now.

John 8:3
Then the scribes and Pharisees brought to Him a woman caught in adultery. And when they had set her in the midst,

God loves to put Jesus in the centre! He is in our midst!! 😉

Sea speaks of gentiles, the nation of the world.

If we don’t wanna Him, He will not force His grace on us.

Grace is such that He must pour His heart out to someone who needs Him.

John 8:59 – 9:1
Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.

A Man Born Blind Receives Sight
Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth.

When there is a need and we can’t see we have a need, Jesus can’t pass by without doing anything!

A Man Born Blind Receives Sight
Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, saying, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?”

Every baby who passes on, regardless of who their parents is, goes to heaven. There is a stage of innocent.

His disciples were sin conscious but Jesus was need conscious. Where there is a need, Jesus wanna to be there!

When bad things, people wanna know who sin? Sin is there. But when we see people in trouble, the first response should not be who sin. The miracle should appear. When there is a need, Jesus wanna give answer!!

Why talk about darkness when Light has come?

Why talk about satan who hates us when Jesus loves us?

Jesus saw the multitudes as sheep without shepherd! Jesus had compassion on them!

When you feed the sheep, the sheep will grow! Feed him and not beat him!! Something comes by growth. Be patient and keep on feeding.

John 9:5
As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”

John 9:6-7
When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. And He said to him, “ Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing.

God makes us from the dust. He demonstrated that He was the Creator from beginning when Hd made clay.

They spat in Jesus’ face one by one. They humiliated Jesus.

When Jesus spat from the same mouth that created us, He showed Hs humbled Himself as Creator and came down.

Jesus came down to bring us all up.

Jesus stood down twice.

As long as there is sin, sorrow, love cannot rest

If you put clay in a man’s eye, he becomes blind. However if u put clay in a blind man’s eye, he becomes “lagi” blind!

The blind man went to wash at the Sent One pool and came back seeing! (This blind man typified Israel)

You must see Jesus as the Sent One. When you see Him as Sent One, your eyes are opened!!

The Sent One pool has been uncovered. Israel’s blindness is about to come off!

The act of spitting is humiliating.

Jesus does His miracles on Sabbath when man is at rest, He can do miracles!!

John 9:20-21
His parents answered them and said, “We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind; but by what means he now sees we do not know, or who opened his eyes we do not know. He is of age; ask him. He will speak for himself.”

John 9:22-41

John 9:25
He answered and said, “Whether He is a sinner or not I do not know. One thing I know:that though I was blind, now I see.”

One thing we know, once we were blind, now we see! Once i was bond, now i am free! Once i was blind, now i love Jesus! Once i dread going to church, now i line up!! ;p

Devil will always minimize the Person of Jesus.
Look to Jesus!

John 9:27-28
He answered them, “I told you already, and you did not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you also want to become His disciples?”
Then they reviled him and said, “You are His disciple, but we are Moses’ disciples.

This man was born blind so he did not go to bible school. He is bold in proclaiming Jesus. The more He proclaim Jesus, the more Light he received.

Those who reject the light are in deepest darkness.

John 9:28
Then they reviled him and said, “You are His disciple, but we are Moses’ disciples.

Moses was a servant and Jesus is a Son. When Moses see Jesus, the servant bow to Jesus!

John 9:29-31
We know that God spoke to Moses; as for this fellow, we do not know where He is from.”
The man answered and said to them, “Why, this is a marvelous thing, that you do not know where He is from; yet He has opened my eyes! Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him.

John 9:32-34
Since the world began it has been unheard of that anyone opened the eyes of one who was born blind. If this Man were not from God, He could do nothing.”
They answered and said to him, “You were completely born in sins, and are you teaching us?” And they cast him out.

This man started preaching!! 😉 He was not only blind, he was a beggar.

You can see the progress of this man –
When he first see, he called Jesus, a man.
From calling Jesus a man, he said Jesus is a prophet.
When they casted this man out, Jesus found him. They casted him into the house of Jesus.
Now this man called Jesus, Lord. This man believe the Son of God! He worshipped Jesus! He brought him from blind to seeing and from seeing to worship Jesus!!!

From a man, to a prophet, to the Lord and to a Son 😉

John 9:35-38
True Vision and True Blindness
Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said to him, “ Do you believe in the Son of God?”
He answered and said, “Who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?”
And Jesus said to him, “ You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you.”
Then he said, “Lord, I believe!” And he worshiped Him.

We cannot free ourselves in bondage. It is an excuse when we say we can stop anytime. This weakness shows that we need the Son of God. Receive grace from Jesus! When we are in bondage, receive Jesus, grace!

Habit is something we cannot just remove. We remove the H we still have a bit. We remove a bit we still have it. When we remove the i, we have Christ, the cross!

The only way is to look at the cross. We cannot but He can!!

The God of timelessness came into time.

For one to say I don’t see it so I don’t believe it, one is spiritually blind.

The greatest knowledge to receive is to receive from Jesus!!

Jesus come to magnify our joy!! He came to set us free!

Whom the Son set free is free indeed!

Without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sin. In that blood is power and can set us free!!
