Sermon note (4th svc)

This world is not getting better. Morality will not be better. Bible predicts that. Man shall be lovers of themselves.

There is only one Person the world will get right under. The Lord Jesus Christ returns.
To the church His coming is so liberating.
We will be raptured first and than He comes after 7 years of tribulation.

We are judged based on our works. We are in heaven by the blood of Jesus.

Every true believers will be rewarded. There are positions in the king of heaven that the Lord will give to His people.

Matthew 25:37-42
“Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
“Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;

“When did we see You” they were not conscious of their works.

Those who are truly saved are not conscious about the good works they have done.

Matthew 25:43-46
I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’
“Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’ And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”

Hell was not prepared to man. It is prepared for the devil. God gave us a choice to choose Jesus.

The righteous were not conscious of their good works and they are doing lots of good works. Those who are no born again are conscious of doing good works.

The way the Lord sees good works and the way we see good works is different.

1 John 3:11-12
For this is the message that you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, not as Cain who was of the wicked one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his works were evil and his brother’s righteous.

Cain brought vegetables and salad and this shows self-righteousness.
God does not accept self-righteousness.
Cain’s work was evil. Coming to God with self-righteousness is considered evil.

The context of doing righteousness – approach by grace and trust Jesus for what He has done on the cross.

The greatest works is the work of God. This is the greatest work of God – to believe. Believe in the One whom He has sent.

The pleasure of giving and blessing is good enough! When we give, don’t focus on it.

Danger of pride. When we do blessing, not count and take note on it.

When we r truly born again, we have works that come out that we are not conscious of. We will not lose our rewards in the kingdom of heaven.

Straw is human effort. Gold is righteousness.
Out of righteousness or works?

When you are thirsty, go to the vessels. Ruth asked why have I found favor in your eyes? She confessed favor before she came out of the house.

Ruth 2:10-11
So she fell on her face, bowed down to the ground, and said to him, “Why have I found favor in your eyes, that you should take notice of me, since I am a foreigner?”
And Boaz answered and said to her, “It has been fully reported to me, all that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and have come to a people whom you did not know before.

The Lord repay your works and a FULL REWARD. God rewards us for coming to Him for refuge! When we take refuge He gives us a full reward!!!

Every man will have praise of the same! The Lord will say thank you for trusting Him!!
A full reward is coming my way!! What a wonderful Father we have!
