God is no longer angry with you today. (Sermon preached in Lakewood Church)
John 1:17
For the law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.
Believe right if we wanna live right.
It is not preaching right living that produces right living. Believe right!
Toxic emotion about fear! Because wrong believing that leads to wrong living!
Children when they feel right, they behave right.
Our emotions are like red flags telling us there is something wrong in our believing!
When nothing reveal, people believe error.
God will never ever again be angry with us!!
Isaiah 54:9-10
“For this is like the waters of Noah to Me;
For as I have sworn
That the waters of Noah would no longer cover the earth,
So have I sworn
That I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.
For the mountains shall depart
And the hills be removed,
But My kindness shall not depart from you,
Nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,”
Says the Lord, who has mercy on you.
God does not have to swear. God cannot lie! There r a few things God cannot do. God cannot hate u, cannot cheat u! Because of His awesome respect to us, He response to us in love.
All blessings and no curse. Jesus’ ministry is after the ministry of Melchizedek.
The wealth is in the tithe!
The divine transaction! Health and wealth! This is in the bible.
When you tithe, u bless generation in you!
We are under the ministry of Melchizedek. King of priesthood!
God had a sworn oath, saying I will not NEVER ever angry with you!!
When God swear, He sworn by Himself! When we swear, we swear by the moon and stars.
God hang His bow (rainbow)! It means He will never be angry with us!!
Do u think for one moment God has gone soft on sin?
There is therefore now no condemnation for us in Christ Jesus!
Rainbow is a reminder of what Christ has done!
God has sworn He will never ever be angry with us!!
Revelation 4:3
And He who sat there was like a jasper and a sardius stone in appearance; and there was a rainbow around the throne, in appearance like an emerald.
No longer throne of judgement!!
Mercy is for people who failed!
Mercy is us not getting the bad things we deserve.
Grace is us getting the good things we don’t deserve.
God did not call u to beat the sheep but to feed the sheep.
The law was given by servant. Grace is higher than the law.
The servant does not abide in the house forever.
Jesus was beaten on our behalf!
Once Jesus is smitten, He won’t be smitten again!!
Speak to the cliff! Speak to the rock!!
God saw the people scattered and have compassion on them.
Numbers 20:10-12
And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock; and he said to them, “Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?” Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank.
Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, “Because you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”
God said speak! When we have needs today, speak!
If there is lack, confess, my Lord supplies us!!
It is by divine power!
If u overcome deliverance with ur will power, u have to keep it with ur will power. But if u overcome deliverance with the Lord, the Lord will keep it for u!!
Don’t be afraid. Arise. Said of the Lord!
The day of vengeance is not here yet! Where Jesus stopped at, let us also stop.
Abraham lived before the law. We don’t live under the law.
David was a man under law. He understood grace. He always said Your lovingkindness endures forever.
Luke 9:53-56
But they did not receive Him, because His face was set for the journey to Jerusalem. And when His disciples James and John saw this, they said, “Lord, do You want us to command fire to come down from heaven and consume them, just as Elijah did?”
But He turned and rebuked them, and said, “ You do not know what manner of spirit you are of. For the Son of Man did not come to destroy men’s lives but to save them.” And they went to another village.
Jesus turned and rebuked them! U do not know what kind of spirit we are of! God is not counting our sins against us! He is waiting for people to come back to Him!
