God is my Rewarder

Sermon Note (4th svc)
Life has been transformed because of the sermon preached. The gospel of Jesus is what this ministry is about. 

No one can make a book a success. Only Jesus. 

Favor is given by God. 

Let God be the Judge. 

Blood of Jesus is consistently cleansing us. 

It is undeserved and unmerited favor of God. 

What about rewards?

1 Corinthians 15:10

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not in vain; but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

God gives us the grace and He first give us the grace to do. Blessed are your eyes for you see. We truly have true riches. 

Reward is something God wants us to be motivated by. Grace is shown by how diligent the person is using the grace given. 

God loves us when we were sinful! When believers die, is costly, is priceless. 
Without faith, it is impossible to please God. 

Hebrews 11:6

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

God is a Rewarder for those who diligently seek Him. 

All of us are safe because God drew us. 

A faith that pleases God are people who believe for reward. 
Hebrews 10:35-36

Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:

 Keep on believing God!!

Do not throw away your confidence. There aren’t enough great rewards!!

Hebrews 11:5

By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

Psalms 127:3

Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord,

The fruit of the womb is a reward.

It is grace and reward. Flow with gift of grace. 

1 Samuel 17:24-27

And all the men of Israel, when they saw the man, fled from him and were dreadfully afraid. So the men of Israel said, “Have you seen this man who has come up? Surely he has come up to defy Israel; and it shall be that the man who kills him the king will enrich with great riches, will give him his daughter, and give his father’s house exemption from taxes in Israel.”

Then David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, “What shall be done for the man who kills this Philistine and takes away the reproach from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?”

And the people answered him in this manner, saying, “So shall it be done for the man who kills him.”

Reward – motivated. It is ok to be reward-motivated!

Ruth 2:1-12

Our Lord is King of Kindness. He will find every excuse to bless me!

The word of King cannot be reversed. 

Bitterness will eat you up. Trust God for 120% restoration!!

Esther 5:13

Yet all this avails me nothing, so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king’s gate.”

God may seems late but He is always on time. 
Esther 6:12
Afterward Mordecai went back to the king’s gate. But Haman hurried to his house, mourning and with his head covered.

Esther 5:13-6:12

How event turn around over one sleepless night!
God can move the smallest thing to change event!

One sleepless night, event changed. 

God is a Rewarder!!

When u r proud u think everything is about you. 

It is not about you. 

Esther 6:13

When Haman told his wife Zeresh and all his friends everything that had happened to him, his wise men and his wife Zeresh said to him, “If Mordecai, before whom you have begun to fall, is of Jewish descent, you will not prevail against him but will surely fall before him.”

It is all in the record book. Don’t throw away the confident. Whatever good things happen to me, don’t think it is something good i have done. When good things happen to me it is by grace. 

It is not my place to say i am rewarded. We do not know what God will reward. The greatest reward is found first time right after communion in the Old Testament. 

Genesis 15:1

Chapter 15

God’s Covenant with Abram

​After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not be afraid, Abram. I am your shield, your exceedingly great reward.”

God truly is our reward!!

Keep on serving the Lord! Am i serving Him or serving my interest or my insecurity? It has to be the Lord prompting me. 

If any man serve Him for Him, we don’t need anyone to know or recognise. 

He is not unrighteous to forget our labour of love for Him. 

Jesus used Peter’s boat to preach. He looked at the fishermen who worked all night and caught nothing. He asked them to go fishing. And Jesus blessed them with exceeding great rewards!
