Sermon note (3rd svc)By Pastor Charles Nieman
Revelation 1:8
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End,” says the Lord, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.”
One thing ends because something else is beginning.
Don’t let satan sit in our ending. Cos if he sit in the ending we won’t get our beginning.
When one thing ends He is beginning something new.
Isaiah 46:9-10
Remember the former things of old,
For I am God, and there is no other;
I am God, and there is none like Me,
Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things that are not yet done,
Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
And I will do all My pleasure,’
We are called according to His purpose.
Zechariah 4:10
For who has despised the day of small things?
For these seven rejoice to see
The plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel.
They are the eyes of the Lord,
Which scan to and fro throughout the whole earth.”
God declares the end from the beginning. Don’t despise small beginning moment.
David took the small beginning and did not despise it. Don’t despise the small beginning that the Lord put us in.
The power of preparation.
He knows how to give us the beginning we need to take us to the ending He has purposed for my life.
When David was in the field, he did not despise it and he took it seriously.
When God gives us small beginning He does not tell us where He is taking us to.
You can’t despise the small beginning in your life.
Job 8:7
Though your beginning was small,
Yet your latter end would increase abundantly.
Jeremiah 4:5
“Before I shaped you in the womb,
I knew all about you.
Before you saw the light of day,
I had holy plans for you:
Jesus gives us the beginning we need to take us to the ending He purpose.
Matthew 25:14
The Parable of the Talents
“For the kingdom of heaven is like a man traveling to a far country, who called his own servants and delivered his goods to them.
He put His power
Matthew 25:15
And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey.
He put into his hands and cause it to produce.
Matthew 25:21-22
His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.’ He also who had received two talents came and said, ‘Lord, you delivered to me two talents; look, I have gained two more talents besides them.’
Faithful over few things and He make him ruler over many things.
Small beginning that Jesus put into our hands.
To be faithful over small.
What is hard is to be faithful over small. Take care of the small.
Much happen because thousand of smalls have been taken care of faithfully
Take care of the small. Is the small that makes the much.
Don’t despise the small beginning. Faithful over the small.
Much is make up of thousands of small
