Boldness Of Faith
Romans 8:1
Chapter 8
Free from Indwelling Sin
There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
There is no pronouncement of judgement for us now.
It means we are declared righteous not by our works but by Jesus’ work! It is a gift that is given to us! By the abundance of grace, Jesus’ work makes us righteous and we shall reign in life!
When we believe this, we will reign in life!
Proverbs 28:1
Chapter 28
The wicked flee when no one pursues,
But the righteous are bold as a lion.
Wicked in hebrew means rasha – condemned, guilty
When we know there is no condemnation, when we know we are righteous, we are excited for everything we do!! We are going to go home with boldness!!
David had this bold faith.
Who will be fearful and who will run away?
David run towards the giant to slay the giant.
What will cause us to have bold faith and run towards the giant and take his head off?
Hebrews 13:5-6
Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say:
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?”
Why we can be bold like lion? We come knowing the Lord is our Helper.
Psalms 118:6
The Lord is on my side;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?
When i see God as my Helper, i will win every battle and every challenge!!
The reason why we can be bold like a lion is because we know there is no condemnation for us. The Lord is our Helper and He is on our side!!
Testimony of a 11 year old boy-
When does this truth of no condemnation become real to us? When we fail.
This boy made a mistake in a listening comprehension exam. During the exam, he realized he has missed one blank and all mis aligned answers! This boy cried out to Jesus when he realized that! Suddenly the cd player stopped working and the teacher started to try the player a few time and had to bring to office!
This boy therefore had time to erase all the answers and aligned back the correct answers!!
Romans 8:33-39
Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies. Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written:
“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
When God has made us righteous, no one can condemn us.
He died our death, He took our punishment! He died and risen, making intersection for us!!
We can lean on the One who is for me and not against me.
Revelation 12:10
Then I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, “Now salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren, who accused them before our God day and night, has been cast down.
The devil tried to give us a sense of condemnation. Believe God to bring restoration.
If u have lost favor, when u have no condemnation, u will have restoration!
God gives me unmerited favor. It is called amazing grace
When we know there is no condemnation we know there is no separation from God.
Christ is in our tribulation and taking me out of it.
God has not left us alone. Jesus never promise there is no problem. Be of good cheer! Jesus has overcome the world!! Today we have tribulation and Jesus will take us out of the tribulation!
We will walk out of this place and whatever problems we are no going to settle for it!
In all these things we are more than conqueror! Someone went to the cross and conquerored for us! We can never lose the righteousness
We are completely and perfectly righteous!!!
The blood of Jesus makes us completely and perfectly righteous
God hate sin and we hate sin. Sin is destructive. There are consequences for sin.
When you know you are free from condemnation, it is the liberty to overcome sin!!
Grace to cause u to reign in life!!
I will experience resurrection when we truly know there is now no condemnation and we will reign in life!!
Samaritan woman did not wanna anyone to help her. She collected her water at noon time when she thought no one is there. Jesus was there and she encountered Jesus who gave her no condemnation and she received the power of go and sin no more!
Jesus raised us from the dead. When we know there is no condemnation, we will know Jesus never leave us nor forsake us.
