Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
Matthew 4:17
From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
Righteousness peace and joy in the holy spirit.
From Mary and from Joseph, there are double claim of David. Son of David.
Repentance towards God.
With all the miracles Jesus has done, there are people who rejected him.
The rulers of Israel rejected Jesus. Jesus said narrow is the way that leads to life and few that is that find it.
In the book of Revelation, it says they saw multitude that no one could number.
Only few believe. Many follow the board way of rejection. There was consistent rejection about the Lord.
The Lord Jesus lay down His life, He was not murdered.
Whoever believe in Jesus shall have everlasting life! He first came to fulfill all the promises thru the Father.
Where light is given, there is responsibility.
Response to the grace.
Matthew 11:20
Woe to the Impenitent Cities
Then He began to rebuke the cities in which most of His mighty works had been done, because they did not repent:
Isaiah 28:21
For the Lord will rise up as at Mount Perazim,
He will be angry as in the Valley of Gibeon—
That He may do His work, His awesome work,
And bring to pass His act, His unusual act.
Micah 6:8
He has shown you, O man, what is good;
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly,
To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?
Matthew 11:22
But I say to you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judgment than for you.
In heaven no one will be sorrowful. Heaven is a place of perfect happiness.
Matthew 11:23
And you, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades; for if the mighty works which were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.
Matthew 11:25
Jesus Gives True Rest
At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes.
Matthew 11:26
Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight.
Babies are trusting. Is the nature for babies to trust. The Lord has revealed the truth to the babes! Let’s not approach the bible with our mind. Let’s ask the Father to open our eyes to see His Son.
Have babe’s spirit. U shall know the truth and the truth shall set u free.
Matthew 11:27
All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.
Matthew 11:28
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Come. First time Jesus used the word Come. Come to Him. Labour and try to be accepted. There is a rest that is given.
Matthew 11:29
Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
We need to learn to be humble. To be gentle. Rest in our souls. Rest found for our souls. If we learn from Him, be gentle and lowly, we will find rest in our souls.
If u r down, u humble yourself, no one can lower us.
Resurrection out of the dead.
Luke 17:6
So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.
Speak to the problem. Keep on speaking even though the problem seems to still be around.
Even though the problem might have deep roots, through faith, speak to the problem
Lift up the rod over the sea! You have authority over the problems.
As a believer we have the Authority. Keep on speaking to our problems.
Acknowledge Jesus as God!
Everytime u take your pride, there is one thing u lack. Grace. When u have a heart to see Jesus, the Holy Spirit reveal.
Show us what the law cannot do. No law given. Only grace. Salvation has come.
There r 2 person The Lord mentioned.
Sons and daughters of Abraham.
Those who put their trust in the Lord, they cannot remain any more in bondage.
Use Jesus name and declare His freedom.
Watch what we see. Ultimately what we see is what u r going to add upon.
Judges 13:15
Then Manoah said to the Angel of the Lord, “Please let us detain You, and we will prepare a young goat for You.”
Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Child speaks of him manhood
Son speaks of divinity .
Wonderful speaks of miracles.
Judges 13:17-18
Then Manoah said to the Angel of the Lord, “What is Your name, that when Your words come to pass we may honor You?”
And the Angel of the Lord said to him, “Why do you ask My name, seeing it is wonderful?”
Sweet selling of Jesus.
Remove the rejection and we remove the problem of lust.
Always affirm your children they are special. Shine like diamonds!!! You are special!
Every child deserve this “you are beloved ones.”
There is none wonderful but the Lord Jesus Christ!!
Our Lord Jesus did 2/3 of miracles outside Jerusalem . When grace meets with needs, it supplies our needs. We r fallen from grace when we try to be justified by law.
Isaiah 9:1
Chapter 9
The Government of the Promised Son
Nevertheless the gloom will not be upon her who is distressed,
As when at first He lightly esteemed
The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali,
And afterward more heavily oppressed her,
By the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan,
In Galilee of the Gentiles.
Isaiah 9:2
The people who walked in darkness
Have seen a great light;
Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death,
Upon them a light has shined.
Matthew 4:12-13
Jesus Begins His Galilean Ministry
Now when Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, He departed to Galilee. And leaving Nazareth, He came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the regions of Zebulun and Naphtali,
Matthew 4:15
“The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali,
By the way of the sea, beyond the Jordan,
Galilee of the Gentiles:
Matthew 4:16
The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light,
And upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death
Light has dawned.”
A great light has come.
Psalms 23:4
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil;
For You are with me;
Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
In your light, a great light has come. He loves me.
Heavily honored. We are the light of the world. We can be heavily oppressed or heavily honored. Open ourselves to His grace and be heavily honored!!
Isaiah 9:2
The people who walked in darkness
Have seen a great light;
Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death,
Upon them a light has shined.
Great light – joy!
Luke 4:19
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”
God doe not delight in judgement.
Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a Child is born,
Unto us a Son is given;
And the government will be upon His shoulder.
And His name will be called
Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Isaiah 9:7
Of the increase of His government and peace
There will be no end,
Upon the throne of David and over His kingdom,
To order it and establish it with judgment and justice
From that time forward, even forever.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
The government shall be upon His shoulder. Shoulders is a place of strength and power.
Give ourselves to the Lord. We belong to Jesus. Jesus will take care of us.
All our problems are Jesus’.
There is nothing to worry about for our future.
Jesus is the same yesterday today and forever.
Surrender my life to Jesus. Let go and trust Him. We are bought with His precious blood!
