1) NZ, Ian Brown

A few years ago diagnosed w skin cancer on his scalp. Told to remove right away. Life threatening. God told him to study the word Abiding. To be at rest and faithful. Started listening to Ps so because he preached about rest. Partook in communion. Went for operation, right before they shaved his head they could found nothing on his scalp. Gone. Miracle. Felt the LORD say if u rest, I will do the rest

2) John, NCC

Experienced pain in knee. Couldn’t get out of bed. Loves to eat Petai but causes pain in the knee, would have to eat pain killer. Sometimes would hear a the pain to eat Petai. One Sunday pastor prayed for pain in the knee. There and then felt like it was for him and felt lightness in his knee. His helper cooked Petai and he ate with faith. Finished the whole plate meant for his family of 8. Next day, no pain in his knee. Praise Jesus!

3) Stanley, NCC.

Lumbar disc pain since 2012. Sprained Lumbar and would experience sharp pain. CNY Eve was listening to sermon divine life flows into your life because of the life of God. Prayed w CD. Felt warmth and knew he was healed. But still stiff. Same service John Attended, Ps prayed over lumbar pain of lower back pain, all the pain was gone. Glory be to God

So many awesome testimonies and they are coming in like a tide. People all over the world are being impacted- to God be the glory.

We are a church that still believes GOD STILL HEALS TODAY. In some churches and denominations they don’t preach that and make it seem like heresy that we do. The Jesus of the bible is the same ytdy, today and forever. He healed all then. Still heals all today. God of miracles.

Devil still likes to point us out to the 2/10 people who didn’t get healed. What about the 8? Celebrate the 8. What we don’t understand, we don’t understand. But we know the one who is absent in the body will be present with the LORD. These 2 will be more alive with the LORD then they are encumbered in the body. They will be a happier place for sure and will never be sad again. But those of us living here will go through moments of sadness and sickness and aging and fatigued. For me to live is Christ, to die is gain. So those who seem not to have received healing and went ahead have life.

But we can still pray for healing today! Argue from Word of God and not our experience.

Surely He has borne our CHOLI- sickness, disease, Matthew 8:17 quotes Isaiah 53. Jesus healed physical sickness and forgave sins.

The devil’s device will never point you to the hospital to those who are dying or the grace. Won’t point to those still alive. Will point you to another lady and not the virtues of your wife. Will point you to the one tree you can’t eat from and not the many trees you can eat from.

Sometimes there are delays in our manifestation where it seems like the promises of God isn’t being fulfilled in my life. Delay is not waste of time. God has a purpose for every delay.

If u have been praying for a baby for 7y and no babies… Reminds us of Ps Matthews testimony. From day one, they wanted a baby. Ps Prince was their pre marital counsellor went through many temporary disappointments. Then after year 7, kept having babies- 4 babies.

Law of compensation and restoration in the bible. When God restores, He did not steal from u. But He restores- greater in qty and quality. God won’t give u ten wives to replace loss of one wife. But will restore u a tenfold wife.

David committed adultery w Bathsheba. He had a baby w her but it died. David worshipped the LORD when the baby died. 2Sam12:19-20

V23- All children go to heaven.

V24- Bathsheba became his legal wife. Solomon- loved by the LORD because child of restoration. David had 18 sons and 1 daughter but God chose Solomon

Even if u have lost, you haven’t lost.

Delay doesn’t mean rejection of you. Doesn’t mean God is displeased with you.

David lived under Law. Before Christ died on Cross. David was punished albeit tempered w Mercy. We live under Grace. After Christ died and took our punishment.

We can stand in the presence of LORD infinitely without fear of incomplete forgiveness. – forgiven based on His knowledge of all sins, not our knowledge of our sins.

We are fully vindicated by the cross of Christ.

Don’t let the devil accuse you- point u to others success, point u to your delay

If there is a delay, u are special.

All the barren women in the bible experienced long delays and cried every month. See the babies of other women and cried. Still prayed and believed God is a good God nonetheless. But when the baby comes, the baby is a champion.

None of David’s other kids were noted to be loved by the LORD, but Solomon.

Elizabeth and Zech had John the Baptist. Sarah and Abraham had Isaac.

God will never hold your sins against you anymore. Promised people of Romans 4.

Jesus wouldn’t have been raised if you are still sinful. He was raised for our justification. Sin is no longer the issue of your delay.

So what is the issue?

John 11:3-6

Sisters of Bethany, Mary and Martha.

Mary of Magdalene and Mary of Bethany both love the LORD. Mary Magdalene came w spices to anoint Jesus’ body. Couldn’t find his body and love knows no logic, wanted to be told where he is so she can take him away. Loved Jesus but believed in a dead Jesus. No intelligent faith. Mary of Bethany lives just near the tomb. Magadala is in Galiliee. Mary of Bethany sat by his feet and did one thing that was necessary and knew He had risen.

Bethany- House of the poor. Felt at home there w Laz, M & M. The one who created all these something’s out of nothing’s and put all the riches and gems of the earth here. He could choose where to be born. He chose to be born amongst the poor. One of the offerings given for Newborn baby is either Bullock (rich), Lamb (middle income), pair of dove (poor)- Mary offered pair of doves for Jesus. Poor family.

Jesus was royalty amongst the poor. He had a princeliness about him and a humility that could go amongst the poor.

Jesus washed the disciples feet even though he knew his origins and where he was headed for eventually.

Back to John 11:3-6

Jesus loves the 3 siblings SO when he heard that Laz was sick, he stayed two more days

The reason for the delay? He loves them.

We think if Jesus loves them, he should rush down. Delay was not denial. It was His way of saying I love u and am doing something more amazing for u.

Gave a revelation of Himself to the two sisters that they would otherwise not have – I AM the resurrection and the life.

Jesus died in our place and died the death of death itself. Killed death by His death. Christians can’t die. Absence in the body is to be present with the LORD. Death came marching after men and one man came to march after death & conquered it.

A delay – not a denial; He is giving u a revelation that nobody else has.

The story of Abraham

Hebrews 6:12-15

Many people believe in instant manifestations and healing. We thank God for instant manifestations BUT let’s see what John G Lake shared.

JOHN G LAKE- went to bury the dead during the bubonic plague. People tried to stop him but he said he walks in the law of the life of the LORD JESUS. When the sick died of the plague, they frothed at the mouth. He told the other docs to put the froth on his hand and the disease would die on his hand.
YET
He said those that are healed instantly learn less than those who receive the healing later. Many times those who received instant healing, would forget Him faster.

It is ok to pray for and receive instant healings. But if u don’t receive it, imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

God can’t swear by anything else but himself.

V14- Abraham was prayed over after God swore
V15- And yet he had to patiently endure before he received the promise.

God called Abraham out of land of idolators. Had no kids but God said I will of you a great nation. How to have a great nation without kids? He and Sarah were ready for this promise and month after month came and went, years passed on by. He wasn’t perfect but God never held his sins against him.

Acts 7- God of glory appeared to Abraham. There was radiance, splendour and majesty.

God promised but why??

Abraham didn’t know he was special then. We know now.

When Abraham’s dad whose name meant delay, died, could he move down to Egypt. And Lot was a lot of trouble & had him along. The Egypt king gave them plenty after he lied to him. Hagar was also given to them. Saw idol worshiping women pregnant all around him, but what about Sarah?

Why the delay?? Abraham waited 24y before Isaac came.

God will never delay and not restore. God renewed both their youths.

Sarah when she was 90, before she got preg. The king of the Philistines saw her and wanted her for his harem. He isn’t blind and it wasn’t spiritual discernment of her spiritual beauty.

God restored her. That’s his way of compensating.

And when Isaac came, both Abraham and Sarah had a revelation of God and His grace that they didn’t have before.

Abraham’s seed was multiplied- not just the Jews but the rest of us who have become his seed through Christ.

We can’t see the purposes and plans of God w our limited sight.

Isaac promised seed and greater than Ishmael.

David was 15 when he knocked down Goliath. Ruddy and handsome, wise and prudent and worshipped the LORD beautifully. David hand picked by God. Where others saw a boy, God saw a king.

He knocked down a seasoned warrior w one stone.

He was anointed as a king by Samuel v clearly before Goliath. But he waited 15y before he became a king. What happened during the wait? Delay and was being hunted. He would write psalms of praise. Would praise God, ask why and praise God again. God had a lot to teach and train David before he was put on the throne. Too young at 15 to be king but the training prepared him for it when he was ready.

A raw piece of iron ore doesn’t have much value but if you take it, break it down and shape it, its value goes up. Imagine same life, but refined and developed and ready for the master’s use…

U will be a testimony and receive revelation of Him.

Note: Job was an upright man and yet he suffered. “The story of Job through the lands of grace”- sermon title. Go listen.

Isaac became a quality son and it is amazing how God compensated them for the years the locusts have eaten.

Kimberly from California- started reading D2R and life changed. She works at a camp for female prisoners. Shared the message to them. Healed the broken hearted and set captives free. Women receiving healing from addictions emotional hurts. Physical healing testimonies.

Grace (Sarah) and Faith (Abraham)- Devil always tries to split them apart.

Ps was a stammered and stuttered and made fun of all the time. Was the one who would always be left behind when soccer teams were chosen etc. Always prayed for healing and lost confidence. Received Christ confidence. Today what he has isn’t self confidence. Now can speak confidently because of Jesus.

Anon from Texas- she and hubby married for 53y. Discovered Ps p’s broadcast. Preached that condemnation is the root of our problems. Since then blessed to know loved by God & not condemned. Son had marriage issues. Stayed w them and listened to Ps sermon. Literally set free from condemnation and drugs and free for 5y now. Attended college and has excellent grade point average. Marriage restored. All praise to Jesus.

Delay doesn’t mean rejection or denial. Remember. Receiving a revelation others aren’t receiving.

He would never imagine he would preach to world wide audience as a kid. Had God told him that then, he would have hidden under his bed and been terrified.

Some think can’t pray for others for healing because not healed yet. Think it is hypocritical but the healing is otw, so how can it be hypocrisy?

See Gen 20:17-21

First time healing mentioned in the bible was when Abraham had prayed for Abimelech- prayed for the very area that his wife was going through. Prayed for the king’s wives and servants would have opened wombs.

Right after this incident, Sarah became pregnant.

Job prayed for his friends and God turned his captivity

Sometimes we are so absorbed w our condition and can’t pray for others. Step out – answer is found in your area of ministry.

12 spies- God already brought them to the land of Canaan and told them it was a land flowing w milk and honey. If God said it, it is good.

But men came to Moses and asked to send twelve spies from the twelve tribes. Amongst them was Joshua and Caleb. When they came back, 2 men came back carrying a pole of cluster of grapes in the centre. (Jesus is the grape and the pole is the cross and the two men are the two thieves— imagery of u will be allowed in to promised land of Heaven).

Butt your buts out of your life.

The rest of the ten saw the giants and said they were grasshoppers but Joshua and Caleb declared that what God has given us, we will take it.

The ten had no God in their speech. Focused on only the negativity and problems.

Be like Joshua and Caleb, put God in the picture. Be like Joseph, “u all sold me here but God sent me here.”

You have God in your life. Sin isn’t the issue as it is resolved on the cross. God is doing something in your life. A revelation.

Joshua and Caleb saw the giants as BREAD for us. We will eat them. Problems come to make us stronger. Problems can’t eat us. We eat them and we become stronger!

The multitude believed the ten (law)- they believed they would die in the wilderness and never enter the land. They spied for 40d so wandered for 40y.

God saw that Joshua and Caleb had a different spirit, BUT they too wandered with the unbelieving multitude for 40y.

Joshua and Caleb had to be w the assembly during the wandering years but whilst the rest died, they entered the land.

But God always compensates and restores.

Joshua was old but was the captain and fought in front. Youth renewed.

Caleb? See Joshua 14:10 – The Lord has kept him alive and well. Went through the wandering but it was like the LORD froze his ageing then so he couldn’t continue in to the promised land in the orig state. As strong now as when Moses sent me on the journey. Age now 85yo but body still 40yo. Can travel and fight at 85yo as he could at 40yo. Not men who exaggerate. Men of God.

Joshua and Caleb learned what speak to the rock means, what the serpent is, the consequences of disobedience—- the delay taught them priceless lessons.

Man found a prodigy. Near perfect voice. Brought her to Paris where a famous Swiss master was there. Showed her to him. Asked him whether she was lacking anything? The master said – a broken heart. It is only when we experience brokenness that when we sing, it goes into the people’s heart.

Don’t worry if there is a delay and the promises tarry. The manifestation is on its way.

Prayer is important- activates His covenant.

What God can’t pass over, He blotted through Grace and the Cross. Every single sin based on his perfect knowledge of our sins, was punished on the Cross. Terror and fear not in your future. All taken away by the Cross.
