VISION SUNDAY 2016 The Year of Possessing our Possessions

Numbers 13:1-2

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel; from each tribe of their fathers you shall send a man, every one a leader among them.”

God is giving the land. Our part is just to receive. 

A new generation raising up. You don’t have to be young in age. 

God wanted them to enjoy everything He provided in this land. 

The idea of abundance! 

Deuteronomy 8:7-9

For the Lord your God is bringing you into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and springs, that flow out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat and barley, of vines and fig trees and pomegranates, a land of olive oil and honey; a land in which you will eat bread without scarcity, in which you will lack nothing; a land whose stones are iron and out of whose hills you can dig copper.

2016 is the land of abundance. He has provided the land for us! 

God is our Provider!! 

The land is flowing. Is full is full is full!! A land we will lack nothing!!

This year there will be lots of challenges, floods happening around the world, nature will rebel, we are drawing near to the coming of the Lord. 

All earth is bound. 

God is bringing us to a land we will lack nothing!! Overflowing! 

Deuteronomy 6:10-11

“So it shall be, when the Lord your God brings you into the land of which He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give you large and beautiful cities which you did not build, houses full of all good things, which you did not fill, hewn-out wells which you did not dig, vineyards and olive trees which you did not plant—when you have eaten and are full—

We will drink from wells we did not dig. A land of rest. 

God has said there will be another generation that will enter the land. Believe in God and we will enter the land. 2016 is the new TODAY. 

Enter into His rest!

Grapes and vine speak of the joy of the holy spirit. Anointing of the holy spirit. 

Is a joy just to be with people filled with the anointing of the holy spirit. 

A life of joy and a life of anointing. 

We will live and enjoy things we did not work for. Jesus did the work!

God brought them out of Egypt. Double stress. God brings all of us when we were in bondage. We are saved from it. We are born again and no longer sinners. We are forgiven. God’s life is on us!

Food of the ground, to collect them is stress. Without blessing of God, life become hard. When God blesses us, the blessing of the Lord makes us rich. 

Olive, Vine, Grapes, Figs are easily taken without stress! 

God does not want His people to be saved but not entering the land He has provided for His people. 

Actual wondering was 38 years, 2 years they walked with God. 

Deuteronomy 2:14

And the time we took to come from Kadesh Barnea until we crossed over the Valley of the Zered was thirty-eight years, until all the generation of the men of war was consumed from the midst of the camp, just as the Lord had sworn to them.

38 years of judgement. 

Are u walking or are u wondering? Start walking in all that God has for me. Walking is relaxing. 

Every place we walk, shall be ours. 

Just when u walk, u possess. 

In the ancient time, people don’t run. 

Walk! Learn to walk more! 

Deuteronomy 11:24

Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours: from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the River Euphrates, even to the Western Sea, shall be your territory.

John 5:5

Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years.

Jesus help us walk and possess!

First miracle of grace was to turn water into wine. 

Stop wondering and start walking!

The people of God tells us these are the people who walk. 

Walk before God, He is almighty God!

When we walk before God we will be blameless and sickless. 

God is almighty! Walk before me is walk in front of God’s face. 

Moses only saw the back part of God. 

Back part is as if we are always leaving 

Numbers 13:1-2

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Send men to spy out the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children of Israel; from each tribe of their fathers you shall send a man, every one a leader among them.”

Love supply us we will enjoy it the most. Faith is always having the good opinion of God!

When someone is healed, God is glorified. God is glorified when we are blessed!

Deuteronomy 1:21-22

Look, the Lord your God has set the land before you; go up and possess it, as the Lord God of your fathers has spoken to you; do not fear or be discouraged.’

“And every one of you came near to me and said, ‘Let us send men before us, and let them search out the land for us, and bring back word to us of the way by which we should go up, and of the cities into which we shall come.’

If u insist on something God will let u have it. But it will not be our liking. 

God told Israel He will be their King but they did not want. 

God told us the land is full. The land is good! Man is so proud and think he can achieve it. 

We don’t need man’s report what 2016 is going to be like. God wanna us to have attitude that will cause us to enjoy the land!

Numbers 13:23-33

Then they came to the Valley of Eshcol, and there cut down a branch with one cluster of grapes; they carried it between two of them on a pole. They also brought some of the pomegranates and figs. The place was called the Valley of Eshcol, because of the cluster which the men of Israel cut down there. And they returned from spying out the land after forty days.

Now they departed and came back to Moses and Aaron and all the congregation of the children of Israel in the Wilderness of Paran, at Kadesh; they brought back word to them and to all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land. Then they told him, and said: “We went to the land where you sent us. It truly flows with milk and honey, and this is its fruit. Nevertheless the people who dwell in the land are strong; the cities are fortified and very large; moreover we saw the descendants of Anak there. The Amalekites dwell in the land of the South; the Hittites, the Jebusites, and the Amorites dwell in the mountains; and the Canaanites dwell by the sea and along the banks of the Jordan.”

Then Caleb quieted the people before Moses, and said, “Let us go up at once and take possession, for we are well able to overcome it.”

But the men who had gone up with him said, “We are not able to go up against the people, for they are stronger than we.” And they gave the children of Israel a bad report of the land which they had spied out, saying, “The land through which we have gone as spies is a land that devours its inhabitants, and all the people whom we saw in it are men of great stature. There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”

God is telling us He has joy big clusters for us! 

The people of God eat heavenly manna. 

Jesus is the Bread of life! 

Nothing wrong with natural achievement and having money, but all these does not satisfy. 

Numbers 13:20

whether the land is rich or poor; and whether there are forests there or not. Be of good courage. And bring some of the fruit of the land.” Now the time was the season of the first ripe grapes.

We have the first fruit of the spirit. 

We know the heaven, we know the joy of the heaven. 

For believers, this side is dead and the other side is alive. 

Grape juice is blood of grapes. When Christ was crucified, He was crucified between 2 men!

Your salvation is paid for by blood! 

This year there is renewal of youth and age!

It has our names on it. 

Kadesh means holy, sanctuary. 

We are at cross road at Kadesh. 

When God told them about the land, He did not mention about the problem. People who examine the giant instead of examine the grapes, when God almighty tell u u can have the land! 

Man is unreliable. Only God can be trusted! 

To be self-confident is to be foolish. 

Don’t miss out on the real things in life. Stop wondering and start walking!

Don’t live life in fear. Live life looking at my God! Look to God! God is greater!! 

God is stronger! Faith always reason from God to the difficulties. Unbelief always reason difficulties to God. 

Love is unselfish! God wants the best for His people!

Caleb, the one who live to 85 years old and never grew old. He measured the giant with God. 

This year God wants us to measure our difficulties with God. 

Lets possess! Enter the land!

Giants walked on the earth before. Noah flood. It was to destroy the giants. 

How we look to the giants? How we see ourselves and we assume how we look to the giants.

 

Numbers 13:33

There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.”

Does not matter how ur past is like, God is going to make our future bright!

Joshua 2:9-11

and said to the men: “I know that the Lord has given you the land, that the terror of you has fallen on us, and that all the inhabitants of the land are fainthearted because of you. For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were on the other side of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed. And as soon as we heard these things, our hearts melted; neither did there remain any more courage in anyone because of you, for the Lord your God, He is God in heaven above and on earth beneath.

Israel is nothing without God. 

The giants fell with the walls all with one shout! Israel was outnumbered yet they got the victory!

Your enemies are paper tigers. They work on ur fears. 

Faith is not indifferent to the natural fact. Truth comes from God. 

Don’t be afraid of your weakness. That is the area God’s glory will flow in. 

In the world we live today, the minority is right!

When we are unhappy is because we look at ourselves. 

Faith makes happy christians. 

God wanna us look to Him at His resources. 

Numbers 14:1-5

So all the congregation lifted up their voices and cried, and the people wept that night. And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness! Why has the Lord brought us to this land to fall by the sword, that our wives and children should become victims? Would it not be better for us to return to Egypt?” So they said to one another, “Let us select a leader and return to Egypt.”

Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.

This year 2016 whatever problems come into our way, feed on them! They are our food!!

Learn to eat our problems!

U think those problems are to eat u, God says no, they are to strengthen u. They are food for us to feed on!

Big giants big food!!

The Lord is with us! 

Every journey have been bread for us!

The most frequently used phrase is FEAR NOT. 365 times FEAR NOT is in the bible!

Don’t rush when u r on holiday. Pray! Pray for God’s protection!!

Pray we are not let into testing. Invite God in to protect me and my family!

Truth is never popular. The world can receive lies in all its form but does not wanna the truth. The truth is God loves u, Salvation! This is a free gift from God! 

The world is rejecting the free gift. God is the Giver. Just walk and enjoy the blessings! The world make a religion out of these things. 

Faith always honor God. Faith gives God its rightful place. Faith always honor God. 

Caleb and Joshua enter into the Promise land!

Those who believe will see the blessings this year. 

See His goodness this year! 

Love produces faith. 

Numbers 15:1-3

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, “Speak to the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘When you have come into the land you are to inhabit, which I am giving to you, and you make an offering by fire to the Lord, a burnt offering or a sacrifice, to fulfill a vow or as a freewill offering or in your appointed feasts, to make a sweet aroma to the Lord, from the herd or the flock,

Depend on God and His goodness and we enter the land!!

Everything in the hands of man become destroyed. Whatever first Adam destroyed, Jesus made new. 

When we depend on Jesus, all the promises of God are yes and amen!!

God walked with the people. He never left them. 

I am a believing believer, not just a believer. 

Numbers 20:16
When we cried out to the Lord, He heard our voice and sent the Angel and brought us up out of Egypt; now here we are in Kadesh, a city on the edge of your border.

No mention about sins and failure. 

Obadiah 1:17
“But on Mount Zion there shall be deliverance,
And there shall be holiness;
The house of Jacob shall possess their possessions.
