When we don’t stand on our rights, He can make everything right for us. Sweeter and more glorious for us. All possible only if we allow the LORD to restore.
Restoration for family at home. USSR is no more but maybe the Cold War is still ongoing at home, believe in the LORD for restoration.
We might know how to resolve the issue but we know Jesus. Everyday allow the LORD to restore your soul. Let Him breathe His life and love in us and make our life lovely for us.
Ps 23-
He rests us. Once He turns around what’s inside us, He turns around what’s outside us.
When a soul is restored, U can see the fruits. A person who condemns others and self a lot, U need soul restoration. When u walk in I am the righteousness of God in Christ, your soul is healthy.
The Jews call the paths the sheep walk to get up a low mount (spirals around the hill), the paths of righteousness. The Apex of these mounts are called “tik-va” or hope. God wants us to live this way- to walk on the paths of righteousness and to have hope which is a confident expectation of good.
A ministry leader whose dad had a fall and needed caring for, had to change dates for a trip which included changing his flight date. On changing the dates etc, he had to forfeit $660. His insurance agent told him he should try getting compensation. He didn’t think it possible but remembered it is the year of restoration so submitted.
Isaiah 42:22- ppl plundered yet didn’t ask for restoration. God wants us to have a confident expectation of GOOD and will not put up with being robbed. We will reach out for our restoration.
He submitted insurance claim. Received 124% restoration of his money.
1 Sam 3:12-13, 16-18
Eli had no confident expectation of the goodness and mercy of God. He had a que sera sera attitude.
Compare this to King Hezekiah’s attitude
Isaiah 38:1-6
Hezekiah when told he would die, he didn’t have a que sera sera attitude. He prayed to the LORD. God wants us to look up and not think every problem is a long shot. He wants us to say LORD RESTORE even though it seems like a long shot.
V5- The LORD restored 15 y to him and delivered the city and personally defended the city.
LORD wants us to be people who cry out LORD RESTORE, RESTORE
Sometimes everything goes wrong. What do u do? Don’t say no choice too bad, like that lor.
Leader in RK shared how he was told his mum was diagnosed w cancer. It was CNY, he went for church gatherings regardless. Gathered and prayed for his mum w his team. She went for op shortly after. The doc opened her up and couldn’t find the tumour and closed her back up.
Be someone who won’t put up with being robbed and will reach out for restoration. He will restore.
First occurrence of the word ‘restore’ in the Bible- Gen 20:7
Law of first mention is significant. Restoration of Sarah to Abraham. Sarah represents grace. –> When Grace is restored, we will see the Son of laughter in our life.
Bringing Jesus back to the centre place in the church, to put the amazing back in grace- our church’s ministry.
What do we depend on everyday? Remember upon waking up each day, you are under grace and have access to unmerited and undeserved favour of God.
This experience of being under grace is only possible coz the first restoration happened at Calvary.
When the first Adam partook of the fruit of knowledge of good and evil, we lost everything. Every curse was unleashed. But because of the second Adam, every blessing was unleashed so we were restored.
If every which way we turn, we are robbed (on the cross, Jesus was robbed of everything and hung btw two thieves), remember that Jesus on the Calvary restored to us.
Are u just existing and not even living everyday? The LORD will restore. You will look forward to your work and colleagues. There will be a blessing. You will carry your kids and enjoy them. You will look forward to returning home to your spouse.
He restores my soul. U can’t restore your own soul.
“LORD I want to love my wife but I have nothing left inside. I want to enjoy work but I can’t.” Then pray LORD restore my soul. He will put in you the ability to live and to love again. He will restore that love, peace, kindness, hope to light up the darkness and faith to replace doubt and quell your anxiety in you.

When we have Jesus, we have everything. We will not be led by emotions but by Your Spirit, LORD
EVERYTHING THAT IS NOT RIGHT, HE WILL MAKE RIGHT.
Only You can satisfy. Let Your love
restore- Your love that cannot fail.
Love Himself will come into your life and restore all that you have lost. When we have Jesus, we are truly prosperous.
We will experience an intimacy with Jesus and live life and life more abundantly. Amen.
