Praise the LORD for He is good and because He is good, He will turn around the situation for your good.
The gospel is the power of God unto salvation. This gospel will give u a hope a joy in your heart. Liberates man to be what God has called them to be.
Our eyes are always on Him. He is our strength. Whatever we need. The grace, anointing and provision has already gone ahead of us.
Jesus is a friend of sinner- term from scribes and Pharisee. Meant to mock and ridicule Him but that derogatory term is now something we love about Him and give Him glory for.
He is a friend of great sinners. There is no greater love than this than a man has to lay down His life for His friend. He calls u friend and loves u so much He laid His life down for u.
Won’t turn His back on you. Loves u today. His heart is for u. Loves u passionately.
1 Sam 30:1-19
We all wish life is always good. No trials or discouragement or tribulations and always have peace in our hearts. Doesn’t happen that way in real life.
For some of us, we realize Life doesn’t always run out the way we want it to turn out. Most of the time it turns out the way we didn’t want it to go. How do we deal with the challenges and trials in our life?
Imagining coming home one day to find ur flat is on fire and you have every single thing. Lost wife, kids, everything precious to him. Everything was in flames.
Have u been in a place where u are so down u have no power left to weep or tears left to cry? David was there. He was greatly distressed. People He was willing to die for and who used to be willing to die for him BUT because they lost their sons and daughters, they wanted to stone him. His loved ones on the count of a disappointment, wanted his blood.
Been there? Are you here?
V6- David strengthened himself in the LORD His God.
Strength doesn’t come from within. U can’t will yourself from weakness to strength. Strength doesn’t come from people around u. U can’t draw from friends and spouse all the time. Not God. They will become weary.
Strength has to come from someone greater. He is your strength. Not a measurement. It is a person- JESUS. Embrace Him and He will be your strength. God is your strength. Becomes your strength.
For God to give u strength, must acknowledge you are weak.
We hide our weakness. We are afraid of people ridiculing or rejecting us. Maybe we treat God the same. Pretend to be strong. No need. Need to be real.
God gives power to those who are weak. – prerequisite for u to receive his power.
If u realize u are weak, and don’t run towards Him to be your strength, the problems will beseige u. Run to Him. Depend on Him.
1 Sam 15:29
Crying out to God. Not complicated. He hears your every cry and His ears are attentive to you. Do u think He doesn’t know what u are going through? He will never leave nor desert u. Cry out to God.
Sometimes so down, left with no words to utter and no power to cry out. But when u don’t know the way He is the way. When confused, He is the truth. When there is death all around, He is the life.
Doesn’t mean something is hopeless it will remain hopeless. Believe the will of God. Eg. Every sickness and disease, God can heal. U need to know who is your God.
He is the resurrection and the life and He is with u and He is for u.
Sometimes we hear negative reports, forget God is for us. Need to change radio frequency and hear God’s Word for u.
When we see Him, we see the Father. Jesus healed ALL who came to Him. God’s will is for you to be healed and blessed. For you to reign and win in this life like David.
Sometimes it seems like u are living in the curse but don’t lose hope. There is always hope in Jesus Christ
1 Sam 30:8
When u are weak and discouraged, first need to strengthen itself in the LORD. Cry oh to Him. Receive strength.
First thing u need to do is to ask. Don’t assume. Ask Him to be the light for every path u will take.
V16 when u see in your situation that your enemy is rejoicing over u. Know it is for a short while. In a matter of time the tables will turn.
V18- recovered all
V191 lost nothing. RESTORATION. Biblcal
God is not the thief and troublemaker. It is the devil. If the thief dares to steal from u, u will have more than before. Restoration!!’ Get ready to have so much peace. Their is the devil but God will restore u. When u are going through an affliction. God is for u. Know that He is always there.
Remember Ps23- though I walk through the valley— He is with me!! In the darkest moments of your life u will experience God in the most intimate way.
Lily of the valley. Valley- Low points of our life. Lily- Jesus. He is the beauty in the midst of your chaos.
Hebrews 13:5
I will never leave u nor forsake u.
Always there. Venus can only be seen when it is at the darkest moment of the night. His light will shine at the darkest moments of your time.
God will turn the situation if your life around. U will despair no more. He will lift u up. Jesus is your strength.
What is always sufficient is the grace of God. Grace at the start, middle and end. His grace everything. Me nothing. Let Him be your everything. God will turn your every addition around
Sin has no more power over u. U are a new creation. Transformed and new. Have hope in Him. He is your savior. Don’t give up.
5-7 y ago, Ps Lawrence visited a man who had been in coma for 30 days. Doctor said he family should let him go. Took holy comm. He woke up. Recovered. Doesn’t matter what the doctors said.
Don’t tell your God how big your mountain is. Tell your mountain how big is your God. Don’t confess your sins. Confess you are more than a conqueror in Christ.
It is said in God’s Word U are MORE than a conqueror. Let ur eyes be upon Him. He is everything u need. Let Him be your song, your home, your strength.
Call upon Him. God is a God of second chances.
Samson was in a lot of trouble but God gave him a second chance. God of grace and mercy.
Counseled in prison before. This was before NCC. Man told Ps how he cashed someone to death with a stone and said he had no hope. Recently pastor Lawrence went again. Society isn’t willing to forgive them.
There is no sin that God cannot forgive. No sinner God cannot love. His grace is greater than any sin in your life. If u will open heart to Him, He can still turn the situation around for good.
He cares for u. If u are in the midst of a megastorm, He will come walking on water. Always hope in Jesus.
