A brand new day starts like
A crisp page being turned
Heaven flips from dark to light
Clouds scrawl azure skies
With white words of hope
I wake and quietly observe
How the Sun yawns and stretches
So its far reaching arms embrace
The horizon from end to end
If I could read all of life like
I could a novel on my shelf
I wonder what chapters
I would linger on and dwell
Which I would skip like stones
On waters rippling out and out
So that I grow in the length
Breadth and depth of Your love
I rest in the gentle breeze
As you breathe out your grace
