Mirror
2 Cor 3:18
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
Unveiled face- when we see Jesus without seeing that we have to earn thru law to see Him reveal His loveliness and beauty! See Jesus in the fullness of His beauty!
See the meaning of behold – to observe; look at; see
When we behold Jesus, we are observing Him. When we observe, we look carefully with our hearts, look at the details in every angle. This is how we observe something. So when we see Jesus not just as seeing, but as observing, we are beholding Him!
Now, how do we behold Him? We behold Him as in a mirror the glory of the Lord! Wow! You see that?
Now let’s see what does mirror means?
Mirror – to be or give a faithful representation, image
So we are looking intently as in a faithful image, and what is this image?This image is the glory of the Lord!
How do we see the glory of the Lord in us? We are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory
Wow! You see! We are being transformed! Being transformed means not transform based on my own effort. Being means someone do for me. And who is this someone? The Spirit of the Lord – Holy Spirit! He is this Someone who will transform me!
What has He transformed me into? Can you imagine? He transformed me into the SAME image!! Same image with who? With Jesus! We are being transformed into the same image with Jesus from GLORY TO GLORY just as BY the Spirit of the Lord! Amen! Wow wow wow!
