Mike fainted at work place. Took to hospital. 90% artery blocked. Stent needed. Wife served at Causeway Point. She encouraged him to attend. Ps preached on Ps91. Healing room believed for no surgery needed. Reported for the lab for the procedure. The doc couldn’t find the blockage at all. Doc said, IT IS A MIRACLE.

Family in car and her dad was exiting main road. Huge Truck collided into their car and cont moving forward. She trusted for God’s favour and protection. Inner wheel of the car was exposed, could have flipped and gone worst. Experienced Ps91 protection.

Georgia

June 2016, declared protection. Bad weather at Frankfurt. Had to transfer flight. Boss asked are u ok! I’ll pray we are protected. Took the flight. 24/6 reached home. 26/6 there was a bomb blast at Istanbul. It went off at the exact same time and boarding gate where they were three days earlier. Can travel with confidence that God will place us at the right place at the right time.

15y now since 911

Ps was in church during a service when it happened. The world has never been the same ever since.

Ps 91:1

Which is the psalm of protection? Ps91. Protection for both day and night.

We all have diff definition of long life. With long life He will satisfy us.

Some things we do can add to our lives. Some things we do can take away from our lives. Proverbs. God doesn’t appoint when we go.

Emergency number is 911 in the States. No coincidence in Christ.

God’s plan for men- Have a mind that is balanced and sound. Not given to depression. But look at men today. Fallen. This isn’t what God’s dream.

So why didn’t God stop men from falling? God made men with free will. We are free moral agents. God made everything on earth for Adam and Eve to enjoy. Freely eat. Only one tree they had to avoid eating of.

If God made men with free will but make us do what he wants, that’s not right. And for free choice to exist, there must be a choice.

Woman’s seed (virgin birth) will crush the serpent’s head.

Today= Spiritual Babel going on.

Spiritual beings vying for authority and power. God sent His Son to be the head of everything.

Adam was in a luscious earn with everything to enjoy and he fell to temptation. Jesus was at desert with nothing to enjoy and didn’t fall to temptation.

His obedience makes us righteous. Our right standing isn’t transient. It is unshakable. It is His obedience that makes us obedience.

God is amazing and our finite brains can’t fully comprehend Him 😉

Hebrews 1:3

Some think the law is something everything people can keep. But law is given to show we can’t keep it. Mirror reflects accurately.

Moral excellence doesn’t come frm upholding the law. The strength of sin is the law. We try to keep the law but we break the law.

The more u try to keep the law, sin appears irresistible.

Trying to keep your diet, sure formula to failure. When u stop going on diet, u whack more rubbish to eat. End of ingesting worse stuff.

Mercy Seat- Jesus is the mercy seat. (hee- las- tereon)

Acacia is incorruptible wood. Wood represents man kind. Jesus is Acacia wood. Incorruptible Son of Man. His humanity. God come down as man. 100% God. 100% Men. Felt human emotions without sin. Lived amongst us. Chose to be born in a manger instead of to wealthy family.

Joseph and Mary brought turtle doves – poor. But wise men come to visit with gold, frankincense and myrrh when Jesus was about 2yo. Became well to do from there.

First mention of ark was when Joseph died and was put in a coffin. Coffin= ark. Same Hebrew word.

Only place to put the two tablets of stone (hat brought about death when Moses brought them down the mountain), under the mercy seat, in the ark, under the blood sprinkled on the mercy seat.

Justified by law- fallen from grace. Grace thus higher than law.

Aaron’s Rod one of three items representing men’s rebellion.
Trees when u cut off- dead. That’s how u get rod. Aaron’s rod budded- rept resurrection.

Manna – eaten in dessert during exodus. And they didn’t live forever. Died eventually.
Jesus- the true manna. Living bread. Eat and shall not die. Live forever. Bread he gives is his flesh which he gives for the life of the world. Eternal Life

The ark of the covenant is to help them see who Jesus is. Shadow of Jesus. Just a visual aid.

Cherubims- guardian of God’s righteousness. Stood at entrance w flaming sword. Eyes rept God’s eyes. But on the mercy seat, see the blood of Jesus speaking mercy and love over Mankind

1 Peter 1:12

Angels desire to look into the beauty and glory of salvation.

Son of God didn’t come to die for angels like fallen Lucifer. Came to die for men.

Doesn’t matter where the ark of the covenant is anymore. The REAL ark of the covenant came to earth- Jesus.

Solomon hid the ark. So by the time Jesus was here, the temple no longer had the ark. He was walking outside. No need visual aid when the substance has come.

The ark opened up forms the cross.

The cross is modern day compared to Moses time. David prophecied piercing of Jesus’ hands and feet- messianic psalm. His time death was by stoning. Not crucifixion.

God is love, just, light, holiness, righteousness- all these qualities are seen on the Cross.

U want a judge who is just. But we want a judge whose essence is love. The Father punished the Son coz He carried our sins. Cursed that we might be blessed.

God’s love seen at the cross- God provided the lamb to take away our sin. It isn’t us or our kids at the cross.

Ten Commandments honoured, Law fulfilled by Christ and that’s why we are under grace.

Currency of heaven is faith.

We don’t know what to expect in the world today. Lots of bad news. So we need to hear the Good news.

Whilst working as a window washer, guy would listen to Pastor’s sermons on Psalm 91 on loop. He was helping boss fix ladder w electric grinder. Aluminium shrapnel sent flying towards inside of his eye. Wound healed next day. No major injury. Fell and slipped off roof, did a roll and landed on his feet. He had fallen 18ft from Roof and no bones broke.

Lady from Florida. 48yo. Adulterous r/s for over 20y. Confessed sin to leader and told would lose salvation. Referred to bible acc on adultery. Adultery is wrong but we are talking about how to arrive at moral excellence. Ended up feeling fearful and believed God won’t forgive her and was insecure. So continued in the R/S for another 2y. Heard Pastor’s sermon where Jesus gave the lady the gift of no condemnation so she could go out and sin no more. Left the adulterous r/s and is in love with the LORD now.

The ark must be carried on the shoulders of the priest. By bullock cart, death happened. Can’t happen without God’s divine help coz it is too heavy. Carried by the poles of the shoulder of the priests. Our part is by faith. If God tells u, He won’t give u something that is heavy. “My yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

When ark is carried, covered w blue cloth (rept heaven)

Every time u put your hands forth on to something God calls u to do, God makes it light. It’s like power steering. The moment u put your hand there and decide, it steers easily. But the old way of steering is very tiring.

Do what u love and money will follow u. Don’t do things for money.

High Priest robe is blue. Tah-Kay-Lek = blue

Healing in His kha-nav, where the Tah Kay Lek is attached too.

Woman with issue of blood, touched the tah-Kay-Lek of Jesus’ garment and her healing stopped.

Jesus said FINISHED on the cross. Ku-La = root word of blue.

Be heavenly minded. Look up. See the blue.

Joshua 3:3-4

When u see the ark, go after Him. Keep your eyes on the author and finisher of faith. Look away from everyone, even Ps Prince, except from Jesus. Keep eyes on Jesus.

Lowest place on planet earth- river Jordan.
Jesus was baptised at this river. And God opened the heavens and said Jesus is His Son whom He is well pleased.

Place of transfiguration- the highest place and also where God affirmed His love.

Parents affirm your love for your kids at the lowest place of their life, not just the highest place.

Joshua 3:15-17

The ark first to go into river of death and judgment. And God slapped the water back in a heap far away at Adam.

Israel didn’t even touch the water. Israel walked on dry ground. 2000 cubits away. Jesus coming back 2000y later and we will enjoy eternal life.

V17- not one man left behind.

When Jesus saves, saves externally and perfectly. Pass clean over.

Jesus is the first one in and last one out.

Israeli army officers go in first and last one out. More officers dead more than any other country coz when they say follow me, they mean follow me.

Pastors need to be the first in and the last one out too.

God wants to be the centre. Where two or three are gathered, He is in the midst. Jesus was crucified in the midst. Appeared in the upper room in the midst. Put Jesus in the midst of your marriage. Not mean to look from each other and draw from each other. Look to Jesus at the centre.

When there is trouble, the ark is the first one in. Goes ahead of the people to find a resting place.

Isaiah 52:12-14

The LORD will go before u
And He will also be your rear guard.

He goes ahead of u. Sometimes we don’t realise how he goes ahead & smooths places before it becomes our obstacles. God is under thanked.

Pastor explained how he went ahead to try the rides at the amusement park before Jessica went on them as a child, to make sure she goes on rides that are enjoyable for her.

We live in this fear mentality in this world. U focus on the front. Not backwards. That’s why ur windscreen is large and rear view mirror is much smaller.

Exo 14:19-21

In a world that is dark, we can have light.

Plague of darkness in Egypt was supernatural. If natural then Egyptians can light their dwellings up too. When it is dark, we have supernatural illumination.

God is the first one leading them and last one guarding them. When travelling, know He has gone ahead to check out the place ahead of u

Gen 7:1
“Come into the ark.” God was the first one in.

When ark rested at Ararat. Gen 8:16
“Go out of the ark.” God was the last one out.

John 10:4-5

No way in the bible it says we have to learn His voice. Born again u are a sheep. U hear His voice and KNOW His voice and follow Him.

Babies aren’t thought to identify their mum’s voice. They know it. We complicate it.

Thank God that u can hear His voice. Don’t think too much. Follow life. If absence of life, don’t do it.

V5- even young baby Christians can discern.

You won’t feel right when u hear a sermon that is off. Someone is saying outside what God has put words inside. “U elucidate what I believe.”- what many people tell pastor (Me: It’s true! That’s what my hubby said when he heard Pastor preach for the first time!!)

When u follow His voice, u lack for nothing.

Romans 14:22-23

V22 – referring to food.

V23- doubt= condemned (not about eternal condemnation here, but ‘diseased’) when he eats. whatever is not from faith is sin.

God wants us to feed when we are hungry. A little hungry eat a little. Full, don’t eat. But if u crave chocolate, go ahead. But if u are full, just throw it away.

If thou shalt not waste, thou shalt put on on thy waist.

Eat what is sufficient. Not dieting. Works initially. But once off diet, fats revisit u with a vengeance. Body doesn’t see diet as diet. Sees as starving. Body metabolic rate slows down.

Jesus fed the people until they were filled. Honour hunger. Get back in touch w fullness. Hungry eat. Full stop.

When we put the law into our kids’ mind (don’t waste food…), this is why obesity is on the rise in kids.

Eat the cheese cake. Eat in faith. Don’t condemn yourself after u eat. Guilt and condemnation starts eating you up. Don’t eat steamed fish but covet after your neighbour’s steak. Give yourself permission to eat and give God thanks.

Hear His voice even as u eat. And pls V23.

Eat slowly coz your stomach takes time to signal your brain that you’re full.

Jesus is in you. Follow the ark and u will not lack. U need to lose weight and be healthy, u will. What is for one man might not be for another. Just follow His leading even in how u eat.
