五 Five- grace in the original mandarin pictogram

I have been reading a book on the evolution of the Chinese language from pictograms to the script we have today.

The number 5 (五) in Mandarin was originally written as a Cross between two lines. When I saw that, u was pretty gobsmacked.

We know 5 biblically represents grace or HESED.

What I saw in the orig Mandarin pictogram for 5 is:

Because of the grace of our Abba Father, the Word became flesh as LORD Jesus Christ & descended from Heaven to Earth to die for us on the Cross. 🙂
